Sara and Camron

On a warm September afternoon in Colorado, I walked in to the beautiful farm house to find everyone gathered around the beautiful bride laughing, enjoying coffee while the maid of honor trimmed her hair.

I first met Sara when we worked together at an Aveda salon in Loveland, CO. She was always the kindest person in the room, with a bright smile and the kind of warmth you can feel. When she asked me to be her wedding photographer almost 10 years later, I immediately said yes. Getting to know her as a bride to be, along with her now husband Camron, was everything a photographer hopes for. Their wedding day moved easily and effortlessly, never feeling rushed or stressed. They introduced me to the incredible Chantilly Cake from Whole Foods at their wedding, ( Admittedly I've been eating it consistently ever since) but perhaps the sweetest addition to their perfect day, is their beautiful daughter Annabelle.

They told me how they'd met as unlikely roommates and how neither of them particularly liked one another initially. Time and tenderness allowed a quiet fondness to blossom into an epic love story. As I got to know them over their engagement and at their wedding, I saw the same kind, lighthearted warmth in Camron. Spending even 5 minutes together with the two of them it's easy to see that they are meant for one another.

The Rist Canyon Inn is a 1896 farmhouse situated on 20 scenic acres of land. Snuggled at the base of the Poudre canyon, the views of the foothills beyond the pasture is unmatched. A stream running through the property makes for lush trees and plenty of shade. The Bellvue Event Hall was designed around vintage glass with no detail spared. The rooms of the farmhouses are adorned with one of a kind art. The wedding benches in the pasture were custom made from the local lumber mill.
